Pinnacle is the in-house brand of British bicycle retailer Evans Cycles. Founded in 2006, Pinnacle has become a well-established manufacturer of urban, hybrid, cyclocross, and touring bicycles.
Their touring model, the Pinnacle Dacite 1, is a versatile and well-thought-out bike for travel. It features a relatively aggressive geometry with a sloped top tube, a wide gear range, plenty of mounting eyelets, and reliable mechanical disc brakes.
The bike comes equipped with a Tubus rear rack and a solid mid-range drivetrain. While the components are a step below those found on the Fuji Touring, the Dacite’s design is appealing and delivers a comfortable ride, even on rough terrain.
