A Shimano Nexus 8-speed drivetrain is what powers the Black Orchid. The reliable and trusty Shimano internal hub indexing should keep your confidence up and never let you down (Elena used this hub for our first 8000km on her Koga).
At the moment the production of this bicycle has been discontinued but it’s possible to find good second hand deals.
